Let’s meet our trainers!

7 questions, 7 answers from drivingcamp trainers. Let’s begin 2021 with Tamás Adorján!

Tell us a few words about yourself first!

It’s been four years since I joined the team, (by the way- it happened by chance). I met Gergő Varga at a Mazda MX-5 anniversary event where I was a participant. We knew each other from our common time of motorcycle racing. I was involved as a part-time trainer in the first years, today I am a full-time trainer, not just in driving technique area. I also hold trainings for senior executives and their employees on various topics at automotive and other manufacturing companies. I don’t want it to sound too spiritual, but this time and activity has helped me get to know myself and also made me realize it’s a pleasure for me to help others, to pass on knowledge.

How does your average day look like?

After waking up, I help my girlfriend wake up because she is struggling with mornings time to time. :) When mornings are more difficult than average, I also do my part in getting the kids to school so that at least they don’t get late. Then, and in the meantime, I try to quickly put together and prepare my daily food according to my diet and hurry to the track. When I have little free time during the week, I try to squeeze in a workout in the evenings. Afterwards, evening program is to relax, play with the children or prepare for other future trainings.

What’s your hobby?

Wakeboard, track driving. Although the last one this year did not go as planned. I also go to the gym regulary, but I don’t consider this a hobby, it’s been a part of my life for a long time.

What was your hardest, most challenging day at the drivingcamp and why?

I can't highlight this, either / because my memory is bad :) Or because we'll solve everything in the end! ;)

What was your funniest moment in your work?

When at the end of a training session one of the participants found the radio loud (a walkie-talkie on which we keep in touch with the client) and that to remedy this problem, he put it in the glove box! :)

If you could meet any famous people, who would it be?

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Among the living ones - Schwarzenegger.

What is your message for the drivers?

Don't be a selfish ****, think with the other's head too!
